Highlights and Materials

Stellar MLS Changes – updates to data entry and rules for Delayed Distribution, Office Exclusive listings and Temporary Exclusion listings go into effect TODAY in Stellar MLS and on September 30^th for MIAAOR and NABOR MLSs.

STELLAR MLS UPDATES INCLUDE:

Listing Data Entry– the listing data MUST be entered into MLS when you have an executed listing agreement (within 5 days) and there are now new fields where you can indicate if the seller wants Delayed Distribution (listing data syndication to websites is delayed up to 5 days) listing to be Office Exclusive (only available to be seen by agents in your office and not syndicated to websites at all a.k.a pocket listing) or listing to be Temporary Exclusive (listing will not go live for a certain amount of time in order to get the property ready, photos, etc).
Required form – All of the options are now disclosed on one form named the Multiple Listing Options for Property Owners form. If you already have an executed Owners Authorization To Exclude Listing form executed for a listing that will not go live before September 30^th you MUST get the new form signed by your Sellers and enter the listing data into MLS.
Making Excluded Listings Live – If you enter a listing and indicate it is temporarily excluded from MLS (new OETE field marked with Y), when the listing is to go live YOU must edit the listing and change the Y to N in order for the listing to go live in MLS, it will not automatically go live.

NABOR UPDATE – The Delayed Distribution option will be a new field when entering listings and a new form will be required. More information will be distributed by NABAOR before the implementation date of September 30^th.
